COP26 Conference

While the COP26 conference was taking place in Glasgow, the children in Playgroup carried out activities and talked about recycling. They read books and discussed what gets recycled and the different bins for the items.

They looked at the packets in their lunchboxes to see what could and could not be recycled. The group also learnt about things that we find on our beaches and in our oceans and how they can harm our wildlife and sea creatures. 

While exploring, they discovered a lot of plastic, cord and even an old sock!
